Sacha’s back with another #Writespiration prompt.
Your challenge is to write your story using the weekly theme/prompt and write it in just 52 words…. EXACTLY, no more, no less.
This week, I want you to look at the ending of the last book you read and write the first 52 words of a sequel.
I just finished Because I Was Lonely by Hayley Mitchell.
It’s a brilliantly written, disturbing tale of a mum, Rachel, who is depressed and finds an old friend, Adam, on Facebook. The relationship that develops takes on stalker-like tendencies and it is encouraged while Adam is having his own issues with his wife, Julia.
Once his real life settles, he hopes her own life with her husband David is finding a path to happiness too, and that they can forget their brief but intense online relationship, but it seems Hayley has other thoughts at the end…
